Education and Training

CMCEO provides after-school programs to 1200 students in a culturally appropriate setting and in languages that the students and community understands. We help students learn to communicate effectively, explore and develop vocational interests and learn about different career pathways

CMCEO provide Afterschool Program at three centers in St. Cloud, MN. The afterschool is based on community solution ideals and is based at these community locations for ease of access and deep connection with the parents. Moreover, CMCEO has done summer school programs for 625 school age children in 2021 in partnership with Stearns County.

We support youth through on-the-job training and internship opportunities to foster and train the next generation of nonprofit and government leaders. We are committed in developing the next generation of workforce for Central Minnesota since, over 56% of students at the school district (742) are students of color.

CMCEO supports students who dropped out of high school and would like to pursue their GED or High School Equivalent as well as those who dropped out of college and now committed to continue with their education. We connect them to resources to get them back on track in their education and careers.

We provide basic English language classes at La Cruz Community Resource Center in partnership with ABE. This will improve their chances of employment and retention to better their livelihoods. We strongly believe education is a keystone to reduce the deep-rooted disparities among BIPOC Communities.
