Mohamed Goni

In building strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, volunteers, and fundraisers. Mohamed Goni has a proven track record. He has successfully advocated for low-wage workers, empowering them, and championing their workplace rights. Furthermore, he excels in assisting immigrants and refugees with job search and placement, counseling, and training plans to facilitate their integration and self-sufficiency in new communities. Mohamed’s Expertise extends to efficient project management, team coordination, and strategic planning within the nonprofit sector. His multilingual proficiency in English, Somali, and Swahili enables him to communicate effectively with diverse communities and overcome language barriers. Additionally, his adaptability to new technologies and proficiency in software tools and statistical software enhance his abilities to manage and report on non-profit programs and initiatives efficiently.
Jama Alimad
COMMUNITY & partner RELATIONS
Jama Alima joined CMCEO in January 2015. He has more than 25 years of experience in conflict resolution, community organizing, program development, leadership, advocacy, and building connection between the immigrant population residents, businesses, and government agencies. Before joining CMCEO, Jama has supported Somali and East African immigrants in Central Minnesota by building their capacity through career development, housing, and business start-up. In addition, he has served as a board member at faith-based organizations and empowering immigrant-focused nonprofits.
